Lake Como

Lake Como was by far one of my favorite places to go in Italy. It is such a beautiful and serine place. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Ratti Factory & Foundation

above is the Ratti Factory in Como where my class got to see the textiles of some big name designers being produced. The processes that fabrics go through is amazing. It was clear that every textile at the Ratti Factory was made by professionals and people who are dedicated to their work. 

We also had the pleasure of going to the Ratti foundation where archives were kept of every textile they had produced in addition to some very rare and old peices
