| the Teatro alla Scala was one of our first stops when we arrived in Milan. It is a famous theater where they create all of their own set designs and costumes from scratch. What was most amazing to me was being able to see the painters working. It was truly an inspiring and eye opening trip. |

| our Milan trip was amazing! It is so different from Florence, and still totally not what I had pictured it to be. Above are pictures from our hotel, Hotel Serena. We were of course given the traditional "Italian" breakfast every morning consisting of cappuccino's and croissants. I have a feeling I am goign to have alot of cavities when I get home! |
